It’s been four or five years since I’ve made any meaningful updates to this site and it’s been six since my last blog post.
Since then there have been many life changes.
My career, for one, has completely changed several times since 2019.
May 2019
Reporter at WTAE TV News in Pittsburgh
June 2019
Spent a month flying to California and then driving back to the East coast
July 2019
Began contract position as Director of Digital Media at Neshannock Township School District
August 2019
Began consultant role as Content Lead for Pittsburgh-based startup specializing in Machine Learning, Augmented Reality, and AI for use in video applications
November 2019
Spent a month living in the United Arab Emirates (random: thought about pre-ordering a Tesla Cybertruck)
August 2020
Moved to New York and began role as Marketing Director for Layer Origin Nutrition, a nutritional supplement startup founded by food scientists from Columbia University and Cornell University.
December 2021
Started role as Communications Manager at PowerSchool, a K-12 software solution provider publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange.
March 2025
Promoted to Senior Communications Manager at PowerSchool, which was acquired by Bain Capital in late 2024 and taken private in a $5.6 billion deal.
During this half-decade-plus I also got engaged, got married, had two beloved dogs pass away, bought three Nigerian Dwarf Goats, had one goat pass away, and had two human children as well.
